The Fashion Jewelery and Beauty in the Gulf Countries project aims to bring you high-end products

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in the United Arab Emirates launched the Italian Fashion, Jewelry and Beauty project in the Gulf countries in May 2021. This leading B2B web project was created to meet the increasingly common need to use online tools to develop business. This project is based on the sectors that represent Made in Italy in the Gulf countries and in particular in the UAE.

As with other projects promoted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the United Arab Emirates, the 250 Italian companies participating in the project were selected based on a careful evaluation of the product, packaging and web functionality. Many of the brands selected for the project are leaders in their field and are known internationally.

The Italian fashion, jewelry and beauty project in the Gulf countries is not only limited to the creation of the B2B platform called “Digital Export”, but also provides other tools and initiatives. Indeed, the current project also includes the provision of Chamber Managers, who will work on the commercial promotion of companies in the various Gulf countries, excluding Qatar. Companies also have at their disposal a representative office at the Chamber in Downtown Dubai in a prestigious location, which allows them to present themselves to local operators with their own local office, which guarantees a continuous presence on site.

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in the UAE has planned promotional actions through different channels. The main tactics used were the use of email marketing, through a precise presentation of the categories of products present within the portal to contacts of local operators and Gulf countries; the use of social media marketing with paid sponsored advertisements; the promotion of macro-categories to operators of homogeneous product sectors in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the search for a specific contact on LinkedIn with paid tools. The “JGT Dubai Jewelery Show” was also held from February 22 to 24, 2022, with the participation of selected companies through chamber booths.

But that’s not all, because visibility actions have also been promoted through the launch of the portal on social networks (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) through the weekly publication of articles and support actions and the presence representative offices were also made. The main objective of these actions was a broadening of the promotion and a more targeted search for operators and distributors in the Gulf countries. In the meantime, greater incisiveness in achieving the figures in charge of selecting suppliers has also been achieved. Companies that were part of the Italian fashion, jewelry and beauty project in the Gulf countries, participating in the ‘BeautyWorld Middle East’ festival at the DWTC held from October 5 to 7, 2021 were Parisienne Italia SPA, Comprof Milano SRL , Itit Cosmetics SRL , OYSTER Cosmetics SPA and Karaal SRL.

After the pandemic caused the collapse of the economy of all countries in the world, the festival represented a great hope for all: the hope of a new beginning. Indeed, the companies had the opportunity to present their offers on the local market, but they also had the opportunity to get to know each other and compare themselves to the world market since companies from 52 countries were present.
