Sheikha Al Mayassa and Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld, CEO of CR Runway, will hold a press conference in Paris to reveal more information about the fashion extravaganza.
The big fashion party will take place on December 16 at the World Cup venue, Stadium 974, Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani announced on Saturday.
The event, dubbed Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway, will feature performances from world-renowned artists in addition to more than 100 brands, including well-established historic houses and emerging designers from five continents.

The event, conceptualized by Sheikha Al Mayass and hosted by Roitfeld at the 40,000-seat 974 Stadium, will raise funds for Education Above All, a nonprofit created by Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Misned and Sheikha Mayassa, which offers opportunities for underserved children and youth.
This year’s event features 15 Qatar Creates shows, 10 high-profile events, 5 creative hubs and 17 exhibitions spread across 5 separate museums. There will also likely be more than 80 public art projects in Qatar.
The big show, which will take place in December between the FIFA World Cup semi-finals and final, will be led by stylist and fashion entrepreneur Carine Roitfeld, who founded CR Runway.
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of LuisaViaRoma, the first CR Runway fashion show took place in June 2019 outside of Florence, Italy.
The fashion show with 100 looks accompanied by a performance by Lenny Kravitz, the biggest models in the industry in recent years, and haute couture wedding dresses from Maison Christian Lacroix brought together around 4,000 people.

Last month, Sheikha Al Mayassa announced that Qatar Creates events, which previously only took place occasionally, would now be ongoing campaigns to support regional culture and arts.
