Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley 2 Start Time: Live Stream, PPV Awards, How to Watch, TV Channel, Showtime Boxing
After Jake Paul beat Tyron Woodley by split decision in their August clash, Woodley was eager to secure a rematch. On Saturday night on Showtime pay-per-view, the former UFC welterweight champion gets his opportunity, albeit on short notice.
After initially agreeing to the rematch in the ring after the first fight, Paul moved on to a plan to fight Tommy Fury. When Fury suffered a broken ribs and chest infection during training he was forced to retire and suddenly the place in front of Paul’s ring was open and Woodley was ready and willing to fill it.
“When I got the call for this fight, I thought things had happened for a reason. Everything’s lined up. Something was wrong with me about Jake fighting Tommy Fury. They didn’t. not even to finish their sentence before I said yes to the rematch, ”said Woodley. “I’m just excited for the opportunity to redeem myself. We found out a lot about each other that night in the ring. We have mutual respect, but there are still things outstanding. You have to. be patient to finish someone in this sport. You have to respect their power and I’m not going to pretend he doesn’t have it. We both know that. “
