URC SIGNS CURRENCY PARTNER
The BKT United Rugby Championship (URC) has announced that international money transfer and currency exchange service provider OFX has become the league’s Official Foreign Exchange Partner.
The URC is one of three major professional rugby leagues in Europe, involving teams from Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Wales and South Africa, including Glasgow Warriors and Cardiff Rugby .
During the initial three-year partnership, OFX, headquartered in Sydney, will provide currency exchange services to the league while using its rights as an opportunity to build awareness in key European markets through channels that include distribution, digital content and brand activation.
OFX recently announced the establishment of a European headquarters in Dublin as part of its plans to expand its business and market share in Ireland and Europe.

The news comes on the heels of the announcement of BKT, one of the world‘s largest manufacturers of tires for agricultural, industrial and construction machinery, becoming the league’s title sponsor for the northern hemisphere until 2025.
